Very nice feel with solid thick band and a screw down crown metal cage around the watch as seen in pictures see through back. I did have a scratch fixed on the clasp of band at one time, as seen with all my watches like them to be clean and in new condition when had put it removed original brushed finish redone, worn only dozen or less times, is heavy watch weighing over 11'1 2 oz. I put the original plastic protector on back because it has reminder for screw down crown.
